In Practice: Calls to join mentoring program
Applications are open for the RACGP program that aims to connect GPs, focusing on wellbeing, collegiality and career development.
Applications are currently open for the RACGP’s Mentoring Program which pairs GP mentors with mentees to boost career support and development.
This week’s In Practice also includes last calls to register to attend the upcoming Practice Owners Conference, and an event to celebrate World Family Doctor Day.
Apply for the RACGP Mentoring Program
The RACGP Mentoring Program connects GPs in the early stages of their career with experienced mentors for career support and development, providing a platform to seek guidance on navigating a career in general practice.
For mentees, the program aims to boost job satisfaction, enhance communication, and strengthen relationships and collegiality. It supports mentors to share their experience to help early-career GPs thrive.
The program runs for eight months, includes matching and training for both mentors and mentees, and is available to all Fellowed RACGP members. Applications for the 2025 program are now open.
Registrations still open for Practice Owners Conference
There’s still time to register for the 2025 RACGP Practice Owners Conference, taking place at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre 24–25 May.
Connect with like-minded practice owners and industry leaders to help shape the future of general practice. Over two days, attendees will learn from experts, explore new ideas for business growth and receive practical tips to help their practice thrive.
This year’s conference social function is Cocktails by Cubiko – an evening of networking, live music, drinks and canapés. Tickets are $135 per person and can be purchased during registration.
Visit the RACGP website to explore the full 2025 program and to register.
